In the modern industrial field, electrical control cabinets play a very important role in controlling the operation of various electrical equipment, coordinating their orderly work, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of the entire system. SKYT will introduce its basic composition and working principle as follows:
Basic Composition of Electrical Control Cabinets
Cabinet Body
The cabinet body is the outer shell of the electrical control cabinet, usually made of metal materials such as cold-rolled steel plates, processed through bending, welding, and other techniques, with good strength and stability. The surface of the cabinet body is treated for rust and corrosion resistance, and corresponding protection levels are set according to different usage environments.
Electrical Components
Electrical components come in various forms, each performing specific functions and working together to regulate and protect circuits. Common electrical components include circuit breakers, contactors, relays, fuses, inverters, PLCs, etc.
Electrical System
The cables and wires inside the electrical control cabinet are classified and arranged according to voltage level, function, and other characteristics. They are connected to different electrical components in a neat and orderly manner. Wires are usually fixed and protected through conduits, cable trays, and other techniques, with markings at the ends of lines and key nodes.

The working principle of the electrical control cabinet mainly includes the following aspects:
Power Supply Principle: The electrical control cabinet is usually powered by an external power source (AC or DC).
Operation of Power Distribution System: The primary task of the power distribution system is to distribute the supplied electrical energy to different electrical systems and equipment.
Operation of Control System: The control system usually uses PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and DCS (Distributed Control System) to achieve automation control of the production process and electrical equipment.
Signal Processing: The electrical control cabinet is usually equipped with multiple input and output ports, capable of receiving and processing digital and analog electrical signals.
Protection Function: When abnormal conditions such as overcurrent or overvoltage are detected, these protection devices quickly cut off the power supply to prevent further damage to the equipment. In addition, real-time monitoring of equipment status and abnormal alarm functions can also be realized.
